Laughter is contagious :

Ever wondered what makes you laugh seeing a chuckling group of individuals even when you didn’t hear the joke? That’s because human emotions are contagious. Laughter in someone else activates a similar response in your brain which thereby prepares your facial muscles to join the giggle.

Laughter is truly the best medicine :

A study conducted in California revealed that those who watched a break-free 20 minute video scored better on short-term memory tests than those who did not. It helps in reducing increased blood pressure and lowering down the release of the stress hormone, cortisol. Laughter triggers the release of more endorphins that send dopamine to the brain which in turn improves our immune system.

Laughter is attractive :

Folks! I am not making this up. By now you might have realised that the couple that laughs together, stays together. It is that one thing that keeps you glued to one another. Studies have been conducted and it has been found out that laughter is actually responsible for sexual attraction. So the next time you go on a date, blow them up with your hearty laugh.

Laughter isn’t all about jokes :

Almost everyone thinks that laughter is associated with something that’s funny. But this is not the case. It is basically a form of communication and not entirely a reaction. For instance, when sitting with a group of friends, we laugh at nearly every comment or statement that is made showing that it is just one of our million gestures to acknowledge what they say and to display our affection and liking for them.
