Frozen Haute Chocolate: $25,000
The world’s most expensive desert according to the Guinness World Records, it is a tad expensive compared to my usual! This desert is a mix of high quality cocoas and milk frozen into a slushy like consistency. Add to it 5 ounces of 24-cart edible gold. Topping the ice cream is whipped cream and obviously more gold. And the cherry on the top is La Madeline au Truffe. Wait it’s not yet finished. It is served in a goblet made with gold and diamonds and you also get a golden spoon to eat.
Behold you have been served a $25,000 dish!

Harry Winston Ruby Slippers: $3,000,000
I never really understood the ladies fascination to footwear, but I guess slippers covered with 4600 rubies and diamonds would definitely be an eye-popper! These stilettos are a tribute to “The Wizard of Oz” on the 50th anniversary of the film’s release in 1989. This pair will definitely bring out the envy in the rest. Keep your cheque book ready in case you would like to take these beauties for a walk!Expensive Things (2)

Mouawad’s 1001 Nights Diamond purse: $3.8 Million
Another one of the ladies likings, it has been certified by the Guinness World Records as the most expensive handbag in the world. This masterpiece is due to the 8,800 back-breaking hours of hardwork, put in by 10 professional artisans. This heart shaped purse is fashioned from 18k high value gold. But the real attraction are the precious stones that decorate it’s surface- a combination of 4,356 colorless diamonds, 105 yellow diamonds and 56 pink diamonds!Expensive Things (3)

iPhone 4S Elite Gold: $9.4 Million

This phone has the honor of being the world’s most expensive phone ever! It’s main body is handmade with pink rose gold and more or less 500 flawless diamonds of the highest quality. The rear is design using 24-carat gold along with the Apple logo. And since you need something to keep the mobile in, they have also designed a beautiful solid platinum chest to go along with it. Now that’s what I call a high priced exorbitant mobile!

Chopard 210 karat: $26 Million
This masterpiece is supposed to be the most expensive and exquisite watch in the whole wide world. One look at it and you will agree with me that it’s a spectacular piece of jewelry first and then a watch. This outstanding time piece is made up of 201 karats of colored diamonds resembling more like a brilliant bracelet!Expensive Things (5)

1963 Ferrari 250 GTO: $52 Million
Next time you want to make an investment remember about the vintage Ferrari cars, since they seem to sell really well no matter what the time. The reason that it costs so much is because it’s rare as only 39 of them were handmade and also as it is a racing pedigree. This car has something special in it which makes it better than any other Ferrari out there. A racing beast with a 5-speed transmission and a 300 HP engine makes it a hell of a package.Expensive Things (6)

When Will You Marry By Paul Gaugin: $300 Million
It is an oil painting by the French Post-Impressionist artist Paul Gaugin. It holds the record for the highest price ever paid for a work of art! I am at a loss of words to describe it. Though I am not really one art, but I have to say that this painting has received many astounding and beautiful reviews. Since it is one of the very few pieces of art surviving of Paul Gaugin makes it even more priceless.Expensive Things (7)

Antilia: $1 Billion
Indian business tycoon and the wealthiest man in India, Mukesh Ambani owns this regal and over-the-top luxurious house. This mansion is an incredible pinnacle of luxury and extravagance. It is a huge 27-storey building complete with a 6 floor GARAGE with a car service station, 3 helipads, superfast elevators, recreation center (spa, Jacuzzi, swimming pools and what not!) and a hanging garden!! This entire place is supposed to take a 600 member staff to maintain it.Expensive Things (8)

Yacht History Supreme: $4.5 Billion
I can’t even begin to describe this exclusive and the most expensive yacht in the world. This yacht blows you out of the water. This 100 ft yacht would take 3 years to fully materialize and not to forget, about 100,000 kilograms of gold and platinum making it an extravagant project. Almost all of the deck, rails, rooms and anchor are made out of precious metals. In fact even the hull is gold plated.
But unfortunately it doesn’t actually exist and is a purely conceptual. But I am sure with the rising wealth someone would like to stake claim to such an exquisite piece.Expensive Things (9)
